What if you could find yourself again through an encounter with God?

No matter where we are in life, we all need a connection to something greater than ourselves. Everyone searches for meaning and purpose that helps us understand why we are here and how we should live our lives. This search often leads us to God, the source of true identity and connection.

God is the one who can truly provide us with a sense of belonging and fulfillment. He is the only one who can give us direction and purpose. When we understand this, we can explore and find an intimate relationship with our Creator. We find our true selves in Him, knowing that He will never leave us or forsake us.

If you are unsure of your relationship with God, let me encourage you to call out to Him. Ask Him to show Himself to you. Say something like, God, I want to experience your love in my life. Please show me who you are and how you love me. Help me to feel your presence and get to know you. One thing to know about God is that He loved you so much that He sent His only Son to live on this earth, die on the cross for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later. It says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish by have eternal life.”(John 3:16 NIV).

If you believe that and have not yet accepted Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior, now is a good time to do so. Pray this prayer:

Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead three days later. I invite you into my life to be my personal Savior. Thank you for forgiving my sins. Help me as I learn to live my life according to the teachings of the Bible. Thank you for my Salvation. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, know that I’m rejoicing with you. The next step you’ll want to take is getting into a good Bible-based church so you can do life in a community with other believers. I also want to encourage you to read your Bible every day. Start with the Book of John. While there are many ways to have a daily prayer time and devotion, I highly recommend starting your day in prayer and reading the Bible. It may feel awkward at first, but just like any new habit, the more you do it – the easier it will get.
